RivALZ

 Columbus

Welcome to RivALZ Columbus, where women united in the fight against Alzheimer's disease divide into teams to compete in a flag football game to inspire fundraising, awareness and action.  The Young Professional group affiliated with the Central Ohio Alzheimer's Association, the Junior Committee, plans RivALZ as their signature fundraising initiative each year.

The funds raised through RivALZ benefit the care, support and research efforts of the Central Ohio Alzheimer’s Association. The Alzheimer's Association strives to:

  • Help families across the country by continuing to provide and enhance programs focusing on education and support.
  • Advance critical research studies into methods of treatment, prevention and ultimately, a cure.
  • Speak up for the needs and rights of those facing Alzheimer’s through our public policy initiatives.

In our ninth year, RivALZ Columbus continues to engage the community, raising over $217,083 to date. Our dedicated players, coaches, and volunteers are working hard to continue this momentum, making our 2018 game bigger and better than ever. Want to cheer on the crowd? Donate to one of our players and you will receive admission to the game!

We are quickly approaching the the 2018 game. Please join us for our monthly meetings, the third Wednesday at 7PM at the Alzheimer's Association to learn more about each committee and join one yourself! View our committee at-a-glance, flow chart and role descriptions. We are looking for talented, driven individuals to help make 2018 the biggest year yet!
